Filingpilot

Finish the Companies House compliance plan in one place: next accounts due date, automatic late-filing penalty in pounds, confirmation-statement clock, and identity-verification gates for directors and PSCs.

No company numbers or personal codes are stored. Synthetic planning inputs only. CS civil-penalty figures are illustrative CH civil-penalty guidance, not automatic.

What the engine does

  1. Computes the accounts period end from your ARD and whether these are first or subsequent accounts (private/LLP 9 months; public 6 months; first-accounts max rule from GOV.UK).
  2. Applies official automatic late-filing penalty bands and doubles them when the previous year was also late.
  3. Builds a penalty schedule at +1 / +31 / +91 / +181 days after the due date.
  4. Tracks the confirmation-statement 14-day filing window (default: incorporation anniversary) and online fee (£50 overrideable) — CS risk shown as illustrative civil guidance only.
  5. Flags ECCTA identity-verification blockers for unverified directors/PSCs without ever asking for a personal code.
  6. Returns ordered next steps and a durable shareable report (HTML + Markdown).
